What is Dry Needling?
Dry needling, also known as myofascial trigger point dry needling, is an alternative medicine technique similar to acupuncture. Dry needling is used to relieve tight muscles and reduce muscular pain.
We have helped over 500 clients by performing dry needling as an alternative way to help reduce pain.
How does Dry Needling work?
Trigger points are hyper-irritable spots within a muscle that gives referred pain and tenderness. Often these are the areas which most people refer to as a ‘knot’ or painful spot on the body. The interesting part about a trigger point is that it may refer pain to a site that may not be where you feel the tight/painful spot. Your Myotherapist has 5 + years of experience to recognise these patterns and locate the source of the pain, often relieving your symptoms in the quickest time and least amount of treatments.
